I love to build things—structures, high performing teams…you name it. I’m at my best in situations that others may deem too difficult due to seemingly insurmountable odds. I ‘ve rarely done the same job twice and I learn new things every day. I’m gratified when I can look back on a job with my co-workers, and we can collectively say we were part of something greater than ourselves, and we changed our world. The best position I’ve held was for a defense contractor in Baghdad. I didn’t take the position for the money; I took to be part of something bigger than me. It was supposed to be a straight-forward and uncomplicated assignment, but that changed fast. I stepped forward to take the additional responsibilities. I gravitate to the hard jobs that others avoid or say cannot be done. From the position in Baghdad mentioned above to opening a 77,000 square foot precision manufacturing facility inside a maximum-security penitentiary to starting up an Alternative Education School for 140 At-Risk students, I’ve always been able to build and develop teams of like-minded people to strive toward a common goal, no matter how many people told us the goal could not be achieved.I am a Management Professional experienced in project operations, logistics, safety and security operations. I am accustomed to fast paced, time-sensitive projects with a solid track record of developing and leading high-performance teams to achieve objectives, reduce costs and enhance operating efficiencies. I have expertise in developing policies, leading cross-functional teams, resolving complex problems, and implementing action plans to achieve objectives.• Commercial Construction • Project Management • Operations Planning • Risk Management • Strategic Planning • Program Management • Cross Cultural Team Building • Organizational Development • Training & Development • Physical Security • Forecasting & Budgets •Facilities Management
