Leading the distribution business of BFG (Balle Farm Group) under the parent company Balle Bros and shared with Mr Chips. The business is a long established and highly respected food distribution company. The company sources and provides a broad selection of fresh, frozen and chilled products to an array of clients in the hospitality sector within the Auckland market.

A member of the Senior Leadership Team of Full TANK, parent company for TANK Juice Bars nationwide. Key responsibilities were to manage the supply chain for Full TANK including pricing, supply, innovations and return on investment of business development initiatives. Led commercial negotiations and risk management activities to establish agreements of products and services to ensure that the businesses commercial interests were fully optimised. Created brand awareness through the Freshpress brand and implemented new technology, systems and processes, to optimise productivity of Freshpress staff, facilities, sales and marketing.

Accountable for making decisions on recruiting franchisees and recommending growth of current franchisees. Providing leadership, coaching and direction to field based teams, ensuring delivery of superior customer experience and people practices to maximise sales and profits. Influencing 27 franchisees who own 66 restaurants. Involved with the overall strategy and planning for the national business through the effective use of consumer based data. Enabling marketing initiatives whilst effectively driving operational execution at restaurant/s level to gain market share.

The primary focus of this role is to invigorate the attraction and recruitment of NEW FRANCHISEES in the McDonald’s system. The navigation for new franchisees into their first restaurant/s ensuring that the right franchisee is available, at the right time, in the right place, with the right funds available, to continue the growth across New Zealand.

Consulting with an assigned group of Franchisees to optimise sales, QSC, profit, and people development with the purpose of maximising business potential for the Owner/Operator and the organisation. As Operations Consultant reporting into the Operations Manager of McOpCo I had responsibility for the McDonalds brand in South Auckland. I ensured McDonalds operated to the agreed international operating practices and proceedures, maintaining and enhancing brand integrity, whilst driving an acountability for profit generation to the shop floor.

Lead and manage multisite day to day operations, whilst motivating and supporting Restaurant Managers with specific issues, such as staffing and business management. Implementation of the company's business development strategies, within the outlets in the Auckland area. Acting as a link, between head office and Restaurant Managers. Standardising systems and policies within outlets, to meet the company's overall brand image. Promoting of the brand, ensuring national and local marketing strategies and campaigns are implemented fully.
