I produce graphic designs and audio & video productions from editing to final products in media (digital and disc). I enjoy pushing my creativity to think out of the box.My passion is preserving memories as my life has evolved in the direction of being a historian as not many people always capture the moments well.My trajectory started from web design and audio editing as I simply wanted to record my family, friends and my "history" as well as musical and performance moments. I added the next layer with images and video from still to video cameras.In my productions, I cover most bases from digital photography & video to capture those memories.Audio recording is a fun layer of creativity including live recordings with compact digital professional recording equipment, creating introductions for audio & video storytelling. This originally evolved from CD audio productions for events like weddings as souvenir giveaways from the bride and groom (recording their audios to create intros for music and designing the disc cover and producing the final media discs). Collages and video productions/montages are always fun more in-depth projects.My latest focus has been on organizations/groups from their websites and logos and creating a presence/branding. I connect the dots and an assortment of merchandise from shirts and beyond are among the end products.Due to my regular responsibilities, I'm selective in my Rebilya Productions and I am taking family-oriented projects. I offer a variety of quicker turnaround and less expensive productions/projects to preserve family moments such as media conversion from old family videos and pictures to digital copies so that more families could be shared with.Such original media includes: VHS, miniDV, negatives/slides and printed pictures, audio cassettesand converted to digital copies as well as archival media on CDs and DVDs. Bluray media is also available.

I've enjoyed & paid attention over the years to see technology develop. I maintained my own computer lab when I was a teacher and transitioned into IT Support. I'm Promethean certified and I have excelled for almost 4 years with the San Diego Unified School District in revamping the two schools (Madison HS and then shortly after to Morse HS) where I exclusively worked onsite. I'm well-known as "The IT/Computer Guy" if not by name and pride myself with a high rate of quick results.Main duties:• Setting up & maintaining technology for internal use and guest speakers/events (computers, document cameras, projectors, audio systems/mics) as well as mobile options indoor & outdoor in large spaces• Designing & redesigning four (4) computer multimedia spaces plus multiple office spaces (Mac & PC) and researching, ordering & upgrading devices over the years for improved performanceTroubleshooting, understanding and maintaining daily issues for a site with thousands of network devices & peripherals/accessories for about 2000 daily onsite users from very old to current technologies• Liaison with District representatives & vendors/contractors on most technology aspects from repairs & installations to large project site upgrades• Troubleshooting via email or phone (sight-unseen) and coming up with solutions• Evaluating technology from excessing the old and obsolete to re-purposing viable technology and accessories in the same or different spaces onsite• Researching & deciding on new technologies and accessories onsite• Overlapping & assisting/backing up my colleagues on technology-related tasks from copiers to phone lines, marquee and other communications• Training staff in person and via Help Documents & emails that I authored or compiled• In addition to regular duties, I sat on the Site Governance Team which meets regularly to discuss issues, gather input and make recommendations about topics affecting the school, students and community.

My tools are working in a Citrix / Windows environment. Armed with BMC Remedy and a knowledge base, I work with Active Directory, remote access software and certain administrative level access to resolve issues.I am responsible for receiving, diagnosing and resolving technical issues at restaurants for their POS system, BO systems, computer based training (CBT), Satellite Network, EMS Systems/Lighting Control, Food Safety Equipment, and all other applicable restaurant system technology as well as procedures for emergency situations like power outages. This position is predominantly phone support: communicating and troubleshooting with crew members to managers and franchise owners. This entails getting Services running on the POS Devices, replacing configuration and database files to full Reimages and Updates.For issues that cannot be resolved remotely or via phone support, I liaison with vendors troubleshooting further or handing-off for them to eventually take on hardware issues onsite. With Customer Satisfaction as the goal, I follow-up to ensure all their issues are addressed.I constantly strive for process improvement of our methods to make them clear and more efficient and to update those troubleshooting documentations in our knowledge base. I voluntarily mentor new colleagues so the transition is as quick and efficient for them as possible.

I provided phone and onsite technical support. Though working predominantly independent on cases, being a team player, I was always willing to take on special projects and act as liaison between my group and other IT groups in the school district as well as with vendors. Greenlit by my supervisor, I used my leadership skills to spearhead projects to aid our Help Desk with the knowledge base and troubleshooting guides. I represented my group along with my supervisor on collaborative meetings with Help Desk. I acted as liaison with the Education Technology training group in collaborative projects and technology testing. I presented information to teachers and colleagues at trainings and meetings. We used Remedy ticketing system for assignments and notating details of resolution.

San Diego Unified School District (San Diego Hs & Cpma Middle)

I launched the multimedia-video ROP program at San Diego High School - CIMA starting with an empty class and no equipment for weeks. I gained knowledge from IT support staff & troubleshot and resolved most of my technology issues for my computer labs of 30+ computers (Mac and PC).I communicated regularly with parents, fellow staffers and administrators both in person as well as available tools (email, phone, automated messages, website). I developed my own curriculum based on student levels and learning modes, evaluated, prepared grades, maintained reports of progress, etc of students as well as records of staff activities. I created tutorials from scratch in the format of accessible notes online, websites tutorials, video tutorials made from screen video captures.

Initially hired as an Analyst, my duties evolved by taking initiative and showing strong ability to learn and adapt by drawing from experience. I acted as Liaison to the Sales & Marketing Departments as interim webmaster, was involved with print and digital projects, and interfaced with vendors. Daily duties included software testing, maintaining company website, updating SQL database, “One-man internal production department”, Graphics/media specialist and general “technology answer man” for the company. For some projects, I was the “Clean up man" assigned to take over reigns of projects (updating product Manuals and Help documents) and “dive-in” to using new popular software All Windows OS platforms and Mac use.
