Sr System Engineer
Current- Infrastructure Deployment: Involves planning, implementing, and overseeing various AWS infrastructure elements, including EC2 instances, VPCs, S3 buckets, ECS, RDS, Lambda, IAM, CloudWatch, CloudFront, API Gateway, and more.- Containerization: Use containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) to package applications and dependencies for consistency across environments.- Resource Optimization: Monitor and optimize AWS resources to ensure cost efficiency and optimal performance.- Security Management: Implement and maintain security best practices, including IAM roles, security groups, and encryption, to protect AWS resources.- Configuration Management: Manage configurations across different environments to ensure consistency and reliability.- Environment Management: Manage development, staging, and production environments, ensuring consistency and reproducibility.- Scaling: Configure auto-scaling and load balancing to ensure the application can handle varying workloads.- High Availability: Set up redundancy and failover mechanisms to ensure high availability of AWS-hosted applications.- Backup and Recovery: Develop and implement backup and disaster recovery strategies for AWS resources.- Networking: Manage AWS networking components, including routing, peering, and VPN connections.- Identity and Access Management: Define and manage user access to AWS resources using IAM policies and roles.- Monitoring and Logging: Set up monitoring and logging solutions, such as CloudWatch, Cloudtrail, Nagios, Grafana and more.- Automation: Use AWS CloudFormation or other automation tools to provision and manage infrastructure as code.- Compliance: Ensure AWS resources adhere to compliance standards and regulations relevant to the organization's industry.- Cost Management: Monitor AWS billing and usage to control costs and optimize resource utilization.- Technical Support: Provide support for AWS-related issues and incidents, including troubleshooting and resolution.
