Directly supervised engineers, CAD designers, and technical support staff. Awarded U.S. Patent 5,423,414 for mechanical design of evaporative spray cooling equipment for flexible food containers. Led company contract negotiation team through contentious and difficult factory relocation decision and effects bargaining. Implemented design and cost improvements throughout product line. Led company contract negotiation team to successful contract with UAW. Revised all health benefit programs to control costs. Business Manager - Electronics: Provided product management leadership for all company products targeted at the printed circuit board and hard disk drive industry. Managed product development, application engineering, and project engineering for this strategic market sector.
