Construction Inspector
Current Review of shop drawings and ensure its compliance with Construction Contract requirements and properly coordinated with other disciplines. Closely monitor Site activities to ensure the quality of survey Work done is in compliance with Construction Contract requirements, good construction practice, compliance with shop drawings, and report to Senior Structural Engineer. Review of Method Statements QCPs and ITPs for surveying works as submitted by Contractors and ensure its compliance with Construction Contract requirements. Review and comment on formwork/shuttering systems and ensure quality, safety and constructability aspects are met with the requirements. Familiar with equipment’s required to be used for field survey works. Advise PMC Quality and Safety Engineers as well as Project Manager for noticed non-compliance of surveying works during site visits. Attend Technical Meetings with Contractor if required by the Project Manager. Review of shop/construction drawings with the other discipline engineers as submitted by Contractors. Endure that adequate Forms are established by the Contractor to serve as “Survey Reports” and that these are effectively and adequately used in survey inspection. Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill. Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.
