 Review of shop drawings and ensure its compliance with Construction Contract requirements and properly coordinated with other disciplines. Closely monitor Site activities to ensure the quality of survey Work done is in compliance with Construction Contract requirements, good construction practice, compliance with shop drawings, and report to Senior Structural Engineer. Review of Method Statements QCPs and ITPs for surveying works as submitted by Contractors and ensure its compliance with Construction Contract requirements. Review and comment on formwork/shuttering systems and ensure quality, safety and constructability aspects are met with the requirements. Familiar with equipment’s required to be used for field survey works. Advise PMC Quality and Safety Engineers as well as Project Manager for noticed non-compliance of surveying works during site visits. Attend Technical Meetings with Contractor if required by the Project Manager. Review of shop/construction drawings with the other discipline engineers as submitted by Contractors. Endure that adequate Forms are established by the Contractor to serve as “Survey Reports” and that these are effectively and adequately used in survey inspection. Informs themselves of the relevant Quality, Environmental, Safety and Occupational Health Policies, Manuals and Procedures in place within Hill International, and ensures continued compliance with these requirements while employed by Hill. Perform other duties as assigned by the line manager/supervisor.

Engineering Office - The Private Office of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum.Core Responsibilities• Attends to the survey requests of all departments in the Engineering Office (CMD, FMD, IDD, DD) including the survey request from Meraas, CEO Office and Royal Project Section (RPS).• Managing the survey requests in Zone-1 which is having the following areas: Nad Al Sheba, Nakhali, Jebel Ali, Lehbab, Zabeel and Jumeirah.• In the above Zone-1 areas, I am managing and performing the following survey jobs;• Coordinate with the Senior Manager of Operations and Project Control the priorities of the requests in a daily basis in order to achieve the site requirements.• Supervise, monitors and directs the survey team/s to consolidate survey works. • Use As-built interferences and prepare reports for submission to the engineering department for revision of drawings.• Topographical Surveys: gathering data on the earth's physical and man-made features through surveys.• Imports raw survey data from field survey equipment and processes data in AutoCAD to create graphical representation of points, lines and features.• Prepare or supervise preparation of all data, charts, plots, maps, records, and documents related to surveys.• Coordinate findings with the work of engineering and architectural personnel, clients, and others concerned with projects.• Record the results of surveys, including the shape, contour, location, elevation, and dimensions of land or land features.• Calculate heights, depths, relative positions, property lines, and other characteristics of terrain.• Checking the location or coordinates of all construction drawings and master plan before work starts and calculate coordinates and elevations to be set out.• Setting out/stake out of all the coordinates of project boundaries & property lines alignments and elevations using Total Stations and GPS.

• Traversing of control points and leveling of benchmarks on regular basis to obtain a reliable survey of civil structures and landscapes.• Using GPS under rigorous conditions & irregular terrains for topography & stake-out.• Conduct site survey. Check datas relevant to shape, contour, location, elevation and dimension related to project site and construction.• Prepare all datas, charts, records and results of land surveys.• Supervise work to ensure that it is conducted according to instructions and is in conformity with surveying standards.• Mapping-out the as-built of structures for further reviews & revisions.• Checking of final set-out and elevations prior to construction.

Sharjah, Uae

• A survey engineer serving as the head of the Survey Groups.• Arrange and coordinate with the Municipality Survey Personnel for the demarcation of plot limits or boundary lines of high rise structures.• Establish control points and execute the setting-out of all horizontal building points, offsets and references as per architectural/structural design.• Establish benchmarks and set elevations at every stage of construction according to elevations details of the designed structure.• Check measurements, dimensions, verticality and coordinates discreetly before construction personnel start to lay-out.• Calculate vertical elevations, distances, dimensions, measurements, angles, azimuths, coordinates and gridlines for setting out as per structure design.• Being in coordination with Project Managers, Engineers and Project Consultants for the better quality of the projects.
