Rey is a certified SAP ABAP Workbench and Process Integration (PI) Consultant who has 20 years experience in SAP R/2 and R/3. He has excellent functional knowledge of various SAP applications including; Financials, Controlling, Production Planning, Sales and Distribution, Plant Maintenance, Quality Management, Human Resources and Warehouse Management. More recently, he has been involved in upgrades and new implementations of SAP’s new dimension products such as CRM, SRM XI/PI, and BW.Rey has worked in various roles on projects as a Programmer, Functional Consultant and Technical Team Lead. More recently, he has assumed Project Management Roles in new SAP implementation, upgrade and production support. At PLAUT IT Rey has been the Technical Team Lead for the Emerging/Enabling Technology Team since 2001.Rey has been involved in a range of major customised developments both in the public sector and private industries. Rey Salvador was designated as Technical Team Leader in the consulting division of BrightStar. In addition to managing and leading SAP R/3 technical consultants, he is responsible for assisting project managers to ensure that SAP R/3 projects have access to the most appropriate resources available. Rey has been involved in implementing SAP systems both in the public sector and private industries. Assigned as Development Team Leader in the Sydney office of BHP Information Technology, Rey was responsible for ensuring the provision of adequate and appropriate technical resources for SAP development projects. He successfully managed the SAP technical group and undertook programming for SAP development projects.

Rey started his IT career with Andersen Consulting (now known as Accenture) in Manila. He has worked on various IT development projects working for companies based in USA and Asia. When Rey has migrated in Australia on 1991, he has joined the Sydney office of Accenture and has worked on various SAP projects based in Australia and United Kingdom.

Rey taught algebra, trigonometry, differential and integral calculus and operations research in the College of Science.
