Developed new training programs, to ensure efficient and effective employee performance. Designed a new employee on-boarding program for plant employees. Created developmental training for current and future line leaders, enforcing standards, such as 6S and Lean Manufacturing, and ISO 9001 and 14001. I also acted as a HR generalist during our COVID response. Managed FMLA, code of conduct, employee handbooks, employee relations, attendance management, badge security, and more.

Managed and organized the company’s training programs for both external customers and field service operations. Created new processes to reduce the time it took for new technicians to become productive to the bottom line. Additional responsibilities included the design, modification and creation of training materials and development curriculum schedules. I was a liaison between our Switzerland parent company and our US operations. I learned about the fabrication process, and sheet metal. I learned to run laser machines and press brakes, as well as cad and plant management software.

I spent 6 years at CS STARS, across multiple departments. I was able to gain great insight as to how different functions within the same organization view the world differently. Although 5 out of the 6 years were spent in a training capacity, time was spent in the Organizational Development\HR, Finance, Operations, and even CEO’s world. Every department brought something very unique to the training priorities. I was able to introduce new technologies into our teaching approach for both our internal and external customers. I had the opportunity to launch our first video media curriculum and helped improve our webinar capabilities. I was also fortunate enough to spend time building our Latin America efforts. I spent one year as an Account Manager. However, I was able to participate in our marketing, and sales efforts.
