- Fellow at the Penn First Year Exposure to Research in STEM Program- Research Assistant at the Lim Lab, focusing on characterizing a quantitive range of gene expression that ensures normal development- Used a combination of molecular experiments, including DNA cloning and CRISPR Gene Editing, quantitative live imaging using MS2-MCP visualization technique on a confocal microscope, and image analysis on MATLAB to understand factors regulating transcriptional activity- Key contribution to the project was the development of a MATLAB code to extract ms2 signal intensities and analyze transcriptional activity from live images over the summer

- Designed and engineered a generator that converts rainwater into electricity to increase access to electricity in rural communities of rainy countries- Applied the mechanism of obtaining electrical current from the impact of the fixed magnetic field generated by the magnetic contour mounted on the base of neodymium, iron, and boron to the generator's work for the construction of 3rd prototype, which gave 120W of power when the rotor's rotation speed is 180 cycles per minute in natural conditions whereas the previous two prototypes lit up only 3 and 22 LED lamps respectively- Raised $100,000 of funding from the Islamic Development Bank and The Global Good Fund- Honors and Awards: Honoree of the BBC's most influential and inspiring 100 women and Forbes 30 Under 30 Asia lists; Green Award at the Greentech Festival; bp NetZero Scholar; Global Good Fund 2020 fellow; Youth Award at the TRT World Citizen Awards Gala; Winner of the Transform Fund competition organized by Islamic Development Bank over 1576 applicants worldwide; "Audience Favorite Startup" Award at the 2017 ClimatelaunchPad program; One Young World Ambassador
