 Ensure all equipment essential for daily production are properly working by coordinating regular calibrations and maintenance by approved third party calibration and servicing companies. Coordinate with purchasing in sourcing new equipment or equipment parts when the need arises. Perform quarterly facility inspection to ensure that the company complies with all the safety guidelines and requirements of CNESST. Issue batch manufacturing sheet formulas to production as required in the batch production schedule. Ensure all raw materials and batches are released by the QC Technician in a timely manner. Report any deviations and non-conformances encountered in manufactured batches and raw material receptions. Assist the R&D/QC Manager in investigation and documentation of non-conformances and deviations. Maintain updated copies of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) of raw materials which are currently in stock. Write, review and update certain SOPs related to QC technicians’ tasks. Assist the R&D/QC Manager in locating and preparing documents needed for audit or inspection purposes. Ensure that all outsourced laboratory tests of raw materials and finished batches are received as per agreed release dates. Perform all Inventory Controller related task.
