• Manages and supervises the on site and off site activities and report to the Construction Manager.• Assists the supervising team on their assigned task to ensure that the work executed on site is as per the specifications, shop drawings and other contract documents. • Monitor the progress against the approved programme and schedules.• Assists the Construction Manager in resolving technical issues and disputes with the contractors and stakeholders based on applicable construction design and procedures.• Assist the Area Quality Assurance Manager regarding non – conforming works and other quality assurance related matters.• Review and approves the corrective and preventive actions being proposed by the contractor for the non-conforming works.• Review and approves revisions to the designs, shop drawings and method statements to suit site requirements.• Assist the HS&E Manager in enforcing safety standards, environmental standards and security measures on the project site.• Check, verifies and certify interim payment certifications and quantities executed by the contractor.• Respond to all correspondence regarding technical issues and construction-related letters.• Review and approves the as-built drawings. • Participates in the Taking Over of the project and prepares the final report.

• Manages and supervises a dedicated team of engineers, surveyors, site supervisors and quality control inspectors in road and highway construction and bridge construction.• Manages and supervises earthwork construction for roads and highways including asphalt construction. Also, supervises the construction of different structures such as road bridges and drainage culverts and various underground utilities under the Ministry of Transport.• Responsible for the preparation of the Work Schedule, Quality Assurance Plan, Health and Safety Plan and all Method Statements for the various scope of work in the railway project.• Assists the HS&E Manager in enforcing environmental and safety awareness on site.• Supervises the quality control team in ensuring the work is conforming to the specifications and other requirements of the project.• Liaise with the consultant’s Resident Engineer and the Client’s Representative regarding technicalmatters and construction issues of the project.• Prepares the Monthly Progress Report.

• In - charge of the overall construction of the project• Supervises daily activities of the site and assigns the proper team for each scope of work.• Plans the daily inspection requests as per site activities and assigned team for same.• Attends and resolves on-site problems for construction, safety, quality and progress matters. • Supervises the construction team in the construction of roads, waterline system, sewerage system and drainage system.• Prepares the Monthly Interim Certificates • Prepares the Monthly Progress Reports.• Liaise with the District Engineer and Project Engineer on technical problems and construction issues.
