Much like the air we breathe, fashion is all around us: it is in our clothes, our accessories, our home décor, even the way we style our hair. Fashion is not just about what we wear but every stylistic choice we make. Since entering the workforce I have made it my goal to never stop being creative in fashion. At first fashion was clothes, helping to style any and every customer I could to fit their individual needs. Eventually fashion evolved into home décor and furnishings, assisting customers in designing a space that was all their own. Having participated in beauty pageants for the better part of a decade, I have curated the ability to understand styling someone to look like a million bucks both with and without a budget. This opportunity has provided me a unique perspective on two very diverse groups of clientele. Throughout my life I have been afforded the opportunity to cultivate necessary skills such as public speaking, leadership, and teamwork. Having given presentations to entire student bodies, at state-wide conferences, and argued important matters to the Pinellas County School Board, public speaking is not something I tend to shy away from. As the first-ever President of the Academy of E-Commerce, I collaborated with my teammates to create an online store that grew to over half a million dollars in sales our senior year of high school. I could go on and on listing strengths that both I and the ten people next to me most likely all have. However, as Sophia Amoruso, founder of NastyGal, once said “True success lies in knowing your weakness and playing to your strengths.” I believe my greatest weakness to be my devotion. When I enter a job, I do so willing to do whatever it may take to make the company succeed. I will work as hard I can to know that at the end of the day what I do makes a positive difference. Through my marketing degree from the University of Central Florida and my array of skills and experiences, I know that wherever you may find me I am making that positive difference.
