With a genuine passion for cognitive-inspired technologies for AI, my career has been marked by a series of exciting developments in the field of distributed and generative AI.Throughout my academic journey, I've employed statistical learning techniques to analyze software traces and models, unveiling their potential for various applications, including runtime monitoring, verification, and model-driven testing. This approach proves especially invaluable when dealing with enigmatic black-box systems, where mathematical models of software behavior are often elusive.In addition to these applications, my PhD studies laid out the theoretical foundations for me to understand alternative AI models to neural network based models. I mainly focused on non-deterministic automata, such as Probabilistic Finite Automata (PFA), Markov chains, and Markov decision processes. I firmly believe that these models are crucial in providing alternative or complementary methods to develop an AI that is generative and distributed. The distributed AI is the pathway to creating a network of collective intelligent agents that are not computationally hard to train or execute, but have superb performance.These techniques are not mere theoretical concepts; I tested some of these ideas in an experiment where a set of PFA were able to detect AI-generated text with an accuracy between 95% to 99%.In my most recent project, I find myself at the forefront of innovation, exploring the domain of LLM-based agents tailored specifically for data analytics. I've successfully developed a data analytics agent using LangChain to extract and aggregate data from SQL and CSV data sources, all while enabling seamless query execution through natural language.My current focus revolves around connecting Language Models (LLMs) with knowledge graphs (utilizing TypeDB) to create a seamless Retrieval Augmented Generator (RAG) for data analytics agents. This journey has not only enriched my expertise but has also solidified my unwavering commitment to pushing the boundaries of AI and data analytics.
