In vivo studies: Pharmacokinetics & toxicology, administration of medication via P.O, IP, and IV, Xenograft studies, specialize in PDX models, systemic and disseminated ALL and AML mouse models, animal surgery, necropsy, gross clinical exams, protocol/report writing for IND and CTA submission. Laboratory techniques: DNA/RNA purification, transformation/transfection, protein & antibody purification, cell culture, ELISA, Western Blotting, conjugation and labeling of protein molecules using radioisotopes, familiar with flow cytometry, microscopy, familiar with robotic plate handling stations.Management/Operational skills:- Oversees all aspects of designing, planning, coordinating, and analyzing in vivo small molecules/immuno-oncology efficacy and PK/PD experiments in collaboration with project team members.- Manages studies with both internal counterparts and external contract research organizations (CROs).- Evaluates emerging technologies, develops new in vivo models, and establishes standard protocols and best practices.- Provides leadership, mentorship, and scientific/technical guidance to junior staff.- Summarizes and presents results to supervisor in a logical manner, verbally and in written reports or presentations.- Exceptional organizational and time management skills to achieve project time lines.- Excellent communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking skills. - Flexible and highly adaptable to changing priorities and able to manage multiple tasks.- Ability to stay focused and keep critical projects moving forward to meet deadlines.- Strong attention to detail generating results of exceptionally high quality.
