During my employment in University of Tehran I have supervised more than 50 master's and PhD theses mostly in the area of cognitive and clinical neuroscience as well as psychological studies. I have been continuously engaged in lecturing bachelor's, master's and PhD courses in the last 20 years. In 2019, I received the best researcher award from University of Tehran for my work on depression.

I was a visiting scholar/researcher in the Brain Stimulation Lab (BSL) at the Medical University of South California (MUSC) from September 2014 to August 2015. This was an invaluable opportunity to expand my expertise and academic experience with the help and supervision of the distinguished professor Mark S. George, a leading scientist in the field of clinical neuroscience and brain stimulation.
