During this tenure, I was asked to spearhead project and program management programs from inception to completion.Major Responsibilities:Coordinating with KAM department to execute project, managing technical, cost, quality, and time constraints, monitoring cross-locations deliveries, communicating with customers during project acquisition and execution phase, controlling project costs within approved budget.Key-Deliverables:• Established fruitful partnership with customer high-management that acquired more businesses, while resulting increase of sales within engineering (PTE) and testing-equipment (ITS) areas.• Steered and implemented program for new customer in Vietnam that completed in 60% of necessary usual time, while having no experience in automotive sector.• Developed new high-efficiency engine / technology to equip four versions of two vehicles (Sedan and SUV) by performing durability-testing (DVP).

In this job, company asked me to lead operations and execute business strategy of systems engineering department and powertrain division. Major Responsibilities:Steering and coaching a team of 26 individuals, establishing collaborative environment among team, creating seamless development of flexible-fuel (alternative-fuels) technology, fostering software functionality for the Brazilian market, guiding working groups related to future, mobility, innovations, and emissions, informing audience about the project, serving as a primary contact for competent homologation / certification governmental agencies such as CETESB (Brazil) and TÜV (Germany).Key-Deliverables:• Organized entire engineering team, engineering resources (Tech Centre), and operations management of engine systems business unit in Brazil.• Enhanced ECU market share from 2% to 28% in the Brazilian market by following engineering footsteps.• Accomplished and exceeded sales / project targets in time by cooperating with Sales team.• Delivered technical expertise related to project requirements, project status, costs, and new business opportunities.• Resolved field issues that contributed to the accomplishment of various projects across France, Germany, China, and India.

Siemens VDO (became Continental later) asked me to manage application, validation, and project of electronic management systems. Major Responsibilities:Overseeing planning and installation of Tech Centre phase, commissioning, and ramp-up, planning and executing projects adhering with customers' requirements.Key-Deliverables:• Promoted to engineering director position from engineering manager for performing duties in effective manner.

Here, I drove application, validation and project management of electronic management systems for numerous engine families. I led research and development efforts on internal combustion engines in engine laboratories in Brazil and Germany. I also presented new concepts and democars for the board of directors at headquarters and launched into Brazil market, supporting emissions homologations activities from imported VW Group (Audi) vehicles. Additionally, I developed and applied engines with flexible-fuel technology (E22 – E100) and pure gasoline (E0%), through Bosch and Magneti Marelli electronic injection management systems. I also fulfilled technical requests including emissions regulations, performance and vehicular drivability, dynamometric performance, cold/hot-starts, NVH, knocking and vehicular fuel-consumption for Brazilian, Latin American, South African, European and Russian export markets.Key-Deliverables:• Achieving project deliverables on time, on budget and in alignment with specifications and requirements through effective planning and collaboration.• Triggering cost savings identifying issues in engineering development and recommending impactful solutions. • Gaining considerable international experience, travelling frequently to participate in workshops, projects, training and testing.
