Providing legal research and advice on international law, refugee law, and human rights, conducting interviews with survivors of conflict-related sexual violence, mass atrocities, and human rights violations, drafting reports, and preparing dossiers of evidence.

Refugees Seeking Equal Access at the Table (R-SEAT) is a global initiative dedicated to enhancing and amplifying the role of refugees in global refugee policy and law to ensure their voice in decisions that affect them.

Legal Action Worldwide (LAW) is an independent, non-profit organisation comprised of human rights lawyers and jurists working in fragile and conflict-affected areas in the Middle East, Africa, and South Asia. LAW has a particular focus on gender equality and sexual and gender-based violence, the rule of law and accountability, and transformative justice.

Taught two compulsory law courses to final year students (UG4) and one international relations course to penultimate students (UG3). These were Comparative Constitutional Law and International Human Rights, and Gender and Politics in the Middle East.

Worked as part of an international team of lawyers gathering evidence of the targeted genocidal campaign carried out by ISIS against the Yezidis, including mass executions, kidnapping, torture, sexual violence, and other egregious human rights abuses, using a victim-centric approach. This evidence will be used to build cases in collaboration with relevant European and Iraqi/Kurdish authorities to prosecute the perpetrators.

Worked with a partner organization, EarthRights International, on the lawsuit against Chiquita for their role in funding, arming, and otherwise supporting terrorist organizations in Colombia, most notably the paramilitary organization, United Self-Defense Groups of Colombia. We represented anonymous plaintiffs who are family members of trade unionists, banana workers, political organizers, social activists, and others targeted and killed by terrorists, between 1995 and 2004. The case was in the fact discovery stage when I was working on it and has since gone before the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit in October 2019.

Provided part-time teaching for Public Law and Administrative Law course. Taught four classes (total 65 students).

Worked in the litigation and dispute resolution team, which represented a range of clients from large corporates, politicians, public figures, and pro-bono clients on all areas of civil and public law in cutting-edge commercial dispute cases. Drafted court submissions, conducted legal research, prepared legal memoranda, briefed expert witnesses, prepared affidavits, conducted targeted document review, and analysed evidence. Drafted employment agreements, settlement agreements, and appeared in court as junior counsel for employment disputes.
