Working as part of a team to perform ticket checks, ensure tram safety and a positive full customer experience for passengers. Day to day duties involve:• Being present on trams and at stations to answer customer questions regarding tourism and the transport system • Providing help, answers and directions to customer questions• Dealing with difficult customers and diffusing conflicts. • Ensuring safety both aboard trams and at stations• Acting as security and a deterrent to troublesome passengers• Detecting and reporting ticket and/or behavioral offences• Enforcing the Transport Act & Regulations • Preparation of sworn statements and appearances in the Magistrates CourtKEY ACHIEVEMENTRegularly performed Acting In Higher duties accross 2 depot teams during last 3 and a half years with extra duties including:• Deployment of teams, issue equipment and ensure safe return.• Collation of statistics for Weekly Activity Report• Supervision, control and support of Authorised Officers, ensuring duties are performed and code of conduct is adhered to• Liaise between officers and unit management• Manage conflict between staff and the general public as well as each other
