First point of contact for clinics/staff for accommodation and estates issues. My role extended to dealing with the inputting of data and extrapolating the national benchmarking analysis. I administered the process for complaints from service users throughout Suffolk as well as the compliment logging and responding. Complaint data reporting takes various forms including strict timescales and deadlines to submit the numerous complaints, patient survey and compliment reports.

Primarily I assisted the Practice Manager as the deputy post was vacant so I was entrusted with some of the important duties like payroll, accounts reconciliation, GP training/teaching contracts. In addition I gained valuable experience of reception and telephone tasks greeting patients and arranging appointments with GPs. Whilst in post I also designed and installed the surgery’s intranet – this brought efficiency to many processes and daily tasks.
