I have a Ph.D in Electrical Engineering from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (UFMG) in 2015. I did a doctoral exchange program at the University of Coimbra (Portugal) in the Department of Informatics Engineering (DEI), under the guidance of Prof. Dr. Carlos M. Fonseca. I have a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering at Post-Graduate Program in Electrical Engineering and specialization degree in Software Engineering (2005) at Graduate Program in Computer Science (UFMG). I have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Pontifical Catholic University of Minas Gerais (PUC-MG) in 2003. I have more than 8 years of experience in the private sector acting as consultant, development and implementation of large systems. In addition, I have experience in the area of ​​Computer Science, working mainly on the following topics: systems analysis and development, database administration, and computational intelligence. I develop research in the following areas: Operational Research, Evolutionary Computation, Combinatorial Optimization and Multiobjective Optimization. I am currently Adjunct Professor at Department of Computing and Systems (DECSI) of the Federal University of Ouro Preto (UFOP).
