At Integral I consult with clients to design and implement systems meeting their needs with a emphasis on Test Driven Development (TDD). This includes implementing a variant of OpenID Connect (OIDC), breaking down monoliths into microservices, and migrating them from on premises into the cloud. As a team we build scalable distributed solutions to client problems. We help train and guide other teams within the client organization to utilize the solutions through great documentation, pairing, and well written tests. As a Threat Model Engineer I worked with internal teams to assess and build a report of the weaknesses and vulnerabilities the teams' application had and were required to implement mitigations and protections for. I was also tasked with building POCs for various attacks that teams could use to understand the attack. I also worked with the Adversarial Robustness Toolbox (ART) which is a platform to attack Machine Learning applications through a wide variety of attacks, evasions, poisoning, and even model inference.

Here I built and maintained React (using American Express's OneApp framework) and Vert.x applications and refined my Java and Javascript skills. We utilized Jenkins and XLR as our CICD and, as a whole company, built a highly distributed Function as a Service system built on Vert.x. Utilizing the Enterprise Service Bus (ESB) we created a system that let disparate teams consume each others' code without the need to manage dependency artifacts but instead let the ESB handle it. We used document storage via Counchbase. Because of the nature of the application and the data it ingested we were also required by regulation to encrypt that data, enforce message signing, and implement key rotation. This was a great experience and I learned a ton!

While working with Quickpass I grew tremendously in my skill and knowledge of C# and the .Net Framework. I learned new ways to solve problems in C# that, while easy in other languages, were at first glance difficult in this language. I have worked in both a Web and JSON API implementation, using OAuth and JWT, with a client-agnostic mindset to serve the widest possible client set. I also worked with third-party hardware systems' integrations for Quickpass's Elite platform. I also continued to hone my HTML, & CSS skills while sharpening my Javascript and Ajax skills.

I worked as a part of the largest team of developers in my development career. I updated and upgraded applications and utilized code scanning tools to discover weakness in applications for some of the most prevalent web attack types including XSS and request forgery. I also had the opportunity to continue building and sharpening my skills in legacy technologies including ASP Classic and VB Script.

I documented, debugged, and repaired application flaws; implemented enchantments to existing processes to minimize human interatcion and maximize efficiency; and got to strengthen my abilities in Visual Basic, C#, HTML, CSS, and Javascript. I also created new applications to aid business needs using ASP.Net, Entity Framework, and MVC.

While here I continued to hone my problem solving skills -- it was my job to fix issues ranging from network connectivity failures and software errors, to malfunctioning hardware and equipment.
