Bong Doung Thom was a producer of virgin coconut oil and coconut products in conjunction with small share-hold Cambodian farmers, also responsible for creating community-based workplaces that allowed disadvantaged rural and urban communities to realize social and financial independence. Bong Doung Thom was forced to permanently in October 2022 due to the impact of Covid.

Earth Twine was developed as an agriculture and food security accelerator, incubator, and education platform whose mission was to seek out and develop solutions that strengthen weaknesses in the global food supply chain, while improving the quality of life in rural communities and mitigating our impact on the environment. I began consulting with founder Nancy O'Mallon in December 2011 before agreeing to increase my involvement and become part of the Earth Twine team in May 2012. During this time I have worked with Nancy to develop Earth Twine from concept to startup.Highlights:- Created business model- Developed startup strategy- Helped establish and build Earth Twine brand- Created executive summary- Drafted mission statement and founders principles- Identified executive HR needs, advisory board roles, job descriptions, and remuneration packages- Helped identify potential strategic partnerships and develop new business strands- Reviewed incorporation, funding, and investment options- Helped develop social media strategy- Ran weekly executive team meetings- Worked with Nancy and app creator Deepak Singh to develop a feature phone compatible smart phone app enables farmers to increase yields, decrease costs, maximize returns and connect with each other. Upstart3r, formerly my3P, is a social-enterprise education network for youth and a sustainable crowdsourcing think-tank for professionals. Our mission is to provide youth with sustainable entrepreneurial skills and help them launch their own endeavors.I began consulting with founder Roi Patterson in March 2010 on updating the business model for what was then my3P.com.
