In college, Ryan purchased a quarter-share in a Piper Cherokee to begin his flight training and earned a position at American Aviation, a FAR Part 61 flight school in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. In this position, Ryan provided knowledgeable, resourceful customer service to flight school clients and continuously displayed an eager capacity to learn. Hoping to further expand his industry knowledge, Ryan became a line service technician for Executive Aviation, where he eventually was promoted to shift supervisor. Battling harsh Minnesota winters, Ryan fueled, marshalled, and towed high-value aircraft. He took pride in teaching his colleagues new techniques to ensure safety, efficiency, and reliability on the ramp.Ryan’s exemplary work ethic did not go unnoticed. Shortly after earning his Multi-Engine Commercial Rating, Ryan was recruited to become a first officer on a King Air 200 for Executive Aviation’s sister company, Aviation Charter. He seamlessly made the transition from the line to the cockpit, exhibiting strong airmanship, technical knowledge and commitment to safety. Since then, Ryan has gone on to earn his ATP, flying several high-performance business jets including the Citation Excel, Sovereign, Falcon 2000 and Embraer 550. Today he serves as a captain for an industry-leading Fortune 500 corporation based in Minneapolis, Minnesota. With over 8000 hours of flight time and diverse aviation background, Ryan is a proven professional who consistently meets the needs of the company and or customer.
