Neon is a digital bank focused on simplifying the financial experience of its customers, where I work developing products and services that make it easier for individual entrepreneurs (MEI) to keep up with their responsibilities with the government.I'm responsible for providing technical guidance for new services and architecture changes in the products. Hands-on engineer of new high-performance microservices using .NET and for handling ~1 million requests daily in our systems with a median response time of ~26ms and ensuring an application availability rate of >99.99%.Achievements/Tasks:• Reduction ~85% in the average response time of the MEI opening functionality.• Reduction ~80% monthly in partner integration costs.• Increase ~200% in conversion of MEI customers to financial products.• Resume operation of the annual income statement transmission service that had a incident and stopped working affecting over 3.5M users for a few months.These came from applying high-performance patterns to C# applications, the use of best practices, making critical product flows resilient to errors and create observability views to track product performance in a production environment, allowing us to proactively troubleshoot issues and work on improvement opportunities.To ensure software quality I like to work with unit, mutation, integration and load tests, code review to maintain code quality and always sharing knowledge with my team.Programming with C#, .NET 7.SqlServer for data persistence.Redis for caching.RabbitMQ and Kafka for asynchronous processing and event streaming.
