Experienced Data professional with a demonstrated history of working in a large, data-driven organization. Skilled in Python, SQL, R, Data Pipelines and Data Visualization. Strong information technology professional with a Master of Science (M.S.) focused in Statistics from San Jose State University. Not so long ago, two events set me on a path toward my dream job: first, I decided to pursue a graduate degree in statistics, and shortly afterwards I became aware of awesome careers forming around data. The more I learn about the tools data teams use, the responsibilities of the job, and the type of projects being worked on, the more determined I become. I immerse myself in the field by dedicating as much time as possible to absorbing information, learning new tools, and exploring data sets. There is not enough time in the day to satisfy my desire to learn, but I wake up every day optimistic about the progress I will make toward a fulfilling career.Data is ubiquitous in today's world, and a career revolving around data gives me the opportunity to have a serious impact. I am intrigued by the insights that are hidden in data, waiting to be revealed by effective analysis and visualization, but I also have a great appreciation for the architecture necessary to maintain high quality data. I want to excel as a data profession because it is an area where curiosity, intuition, and technical ability are combined to solve important problems in innovative ways. I love data, programming, statistics, machine learning, and any tools that help me solve problems and discover meaningful insights. I truly believe I can achieve great things on a data team, and the pursuit is thrilling. My determination aside, I do find time for the other activities I really enjoy like backpacking, rock climbing, and amateur homesteading.Let's connect!
