I am a DC patent attorney with a PhD in Molecular Biology specialized in cancer research. Through my doctoral training, I obtained ample experience with standard molecular and biochemical techniques, and with handling of cell lines, laboratory mice, and human primary samples. This experience led to publications in journals like Nature Leukemia, the Journal of Clinical Investigation, and various others.I founded the Spanish Science and Law Communication and Outreach platform, Bench 2 Bench (www.bench2bench.org). The platform includes a website that I use to explain complex scientific and legal topics to general audiences. In my time as a legal professional, I have had experiences working for nonprofits, international law firms, and the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, where I have perfected my legal research and writing skills. I have also gained significant public policy experience, with projects that included tracking legislation, and helping draft resolutions for Congress.
