About Rebecca Fraser-Thill, Acc, Mcpc
I'm a full-time ICF-certified Career Design Coach who runs a bustling virtual coaching and consulting practice based in Maine. My superpowers are visioning and setting strategy, and my work focuses on supporting these skills during inflection points, in both individuals & organizations. My 1:1 coaching of individuals around the world focuses on:- Mid-career redirection (i.e., "My work and/or its connection to my life aren't working for me any more. I feel lost and confused. What do I want to do next, and how do I get there?")- Burnout and/or sabbatical rebooting (i.e., "What I've been doing hasn't been working. How do I change my work to better fit my goals and values for the whole of my life? How do I set new boundaries and hold to them? How do I find fulfillment, energy, and excitement at work again?")- Mid-career maximizing (i.e., "I mostly like what I'm doing, but I'm not being as impactful or engaged or effective as I could be. Maybe things are feeling a bit stagnant, or I've been promoted and cannot quite figure out how to lean into my new role. In any case, I want to feel more self-directed at work and in my life, and to make the most of the years ahead. What are my next steps?"- Entrepreneurial planning and/or maximizing (i.e., "I'm making my own thing - how can I do it optimally?")- Retirement visioning (i.e., "My paid career is coming to an end - but I don't want the important work of contributing and living meaningfully to come to an end! What would it look like to design a rich, impactful, engaging retirement based around my values, goals, and interests?")I also consult with nonprofit and for-profit organizations and schools on employee engagement, strategic thinking and planning, and using design thinking to improve efficacy. My background in psychology and human development infuse everything I do. I spent two decades in higher ed, teaching psychology at Bates College and as a TA at Cornell. I led the design, prototyping, and initial implementation of one of the three primary strategic initiatives at Bates: an innovative set of career development programming called Purposeful Work, reporting directly to the President throughout the process. Between four certificates in coaching, a master's degree in developmental psych from Cornell, and hundreds of hours of coaching practice, I have a deep understanding of human thoughts and behavior and a tangible, well-refined skill set for supporting positive future actions. How might I support you or your organization's goals?Learn more at http://www.rebeccafraserthill.com/coaching
