This project has focused on the implementation of a new strategic reconciliation system based on the Autorek 4.3 platform. Core to this platform has been the development of instrument specific reconciliations for Cash, Futures, Options, FX and Equities including CFDs, ETFs and Bonds.Trade volumes average around 100,000 per day and positions 30,000 per day with KPIs set at a 99% automatic match rate.SSIS has been utilised extensively for both broker and internal system data loading, due to the large variance in quality and richness from each source. To help standardise this ETL and improve the rapidity of development, custom components were developed to support key processes such as account to fund mapping, instrument static lookup & validation, duplicate data filtering & validation and date standardisation.Reporting consists of three main areas; Exceptions reports used by the business to sign off their daily reconciliations, Operational reports used for monitoring the loading of data and Total Equity reporting to highlight any unexplained discrepancies between the broker and Mans opinion.
