CurrentSets roadmaps and develops plans for existing and new technologiesEvaluates and tests hardware, OS, applications and makes recommendations on new/upgrades to hardware, OS, and applications.Continually seek ways to automate redundant functions to improve the quality and efficiencies of tasksActs as technical lead on projects.Documents standards, architecture, implementation procedures, and troubleshootingWhen assuming the technical lead role, manages day-to-day project-related activities for projects. Produces, drives, and manages project schedules, status, resources, deliverables, issues, risk, and timelines throughout the project with input from the team. Conducts post-phase evaluations and communicates “lessons learned” and best practices to managementSubmits required wiring/cabling requests, maintenance, and hardware and software installationsActs as a contact point for vendors during installation, rearrangement and/or removal of equipmentSpend a portion of each day working with other team members on a variety of tasks from monitoring, incident management, completing capacity and deployment-based service planning, defining monthly and weekly activities like patch & vulnerability management, and playing a pivotal role in our major incident response.Keeps management well informed on a timely basis of progress, status, and concerns for each assignmentEffectively communicates ideas and information to peers, management, and customersResponsible for training, mentoring, directing, and validating the work of less experienced/knowledgeable team membersExchange 365 management and configurationAzure management and configurationVMWare management and configurationAzure AD management and configurationActive Directory management and configurationIntune management and configurationSCCM management and configurationServer 2016 management and configurationDevelops powershell scripts and automation.
