Assuming a hands-on role in the Global IT Applications organization supporting our Corporate, Supply Chain, and North American Business Unit Finance teams. - responsible for month-end closing, financial accuracy, and annual budget for largest Atrium subsidiary with annual revenues of $140M- involved in compilation of quarterly and annual budget Executive presentation packages- created new daily sales report in MS Access & Excel enabling sales reporting by business line and product type- provided support as Finance liaison with Manufacturing Operations and collaborated in creation of Operational reporting- created a working methodology to calculate material, labor, and OH to establish fully loaded standard costs for over 7,000+ existing sku’s and to facilitate costing of new sku’s throughout the year- used the above costing methodology to enhance the sales quoting process- involved in the global ERP implementation setup and design as subject matter expert (SME) including global GL distribution (Automated Accounting Instructions – AAI’s) and chart of accounts in preparation of go-live for HVL’s Philadelphia operations

- responsible for month-end closing and accuracy of financials for the Foundation group of the Hospital including associated donor funds and investments- reviewed and reconciled all capital project charges with policies and the General Ledger coordinating any process or policy changes with the Accounts Payable department- investigated and reconciled Hospital balance sheet accounts and created reconciliations if none existed- documented processes associated with the Senior Accountant position- participated with external auditors as part of year-end financial audit

- reconciled inventory accounts of $75M and rental fleet inventory accounts of $50M as part of month-end closing- performed detailed margin analysis to ensure proper sales and costs reported during month-end closing process and booked journal entries related to inventory and cost in Oracle Applications- identified and helped design system enhancements to reduce the system variances in inventory between perpetuals and GL- supported the field related to systems, policies, and financial questions
