About Richard Engstrom
I have over 40 years experience as both a Tool & Die maker and designer. In 1992 I contracted to teach Progressive Die design to the Delco Corp. engineers in Kokomo, Indiana.In 1993 I started STAT engineering design, using AutoCad for CAD. In 2003 I switched to Solidworks and later became familiar with simulation software, i.e., Autoform and Dynaform which has really started a revolution in Die designing.My goal is to create an elite online design team with a simulation expert, 3D scanning expert, 2 more highly experienced mechanical designers, an electronics wizard, andan expert in Luxology presentations or similar software.

When they called me, all of their machine designs were sketches on paper, so I had them buy Solidworks and BobCad-Cam and modeled all of their equipment as Solidworks assemblies and programmed all of their production machining for their CNC turning and machining centers.
