In his creation of legacy plans, Robert is mindful to create an estate strategy which respects the core values of the client and which protects a beneficiary’s ultimate inheritance.In his role as General Counsel, Robert plays an integral role in developing strategies for Hudson’s growth, including analyzing acquisition candidates and coordinating the related due diligence activities.

The primary focus of Robert’s practice is business consulting, succession planning and legacy strategies. In 1988, Robert began his career with the law firm of Davidoff and Malito LLP, one of the premier lobbying firms in New York. In 1995, Robert began a private law firm, and since that time, has acted as general and lead counsel to a wide range of private and public corporations.In providing business counseling services, Robert stresses the importance of establishing a strong company structure in the start up phase, maximizing opportunity in the growth phase and having a well conceived plan for the ultimate exit strategy. In the initial phase, customized operating and employment agreements are created, each of which outline the responsibilities and obligations of both owners and staff. During the growth phase, a due diligence process is defined to maximize business growth both organically and through acquisition. Lastly, a succession plan is developed which seeks to preserve the value of the equity in the business that has been created, prepare the customers for the transfer, and is mindful of sudden, unexpected occurrences that can cause a major shift in the timing of the plan.In his creation of legacy plans, Robert is mindful to create an estate strategy which respects the core values of his clients and which protects a beneficiary’s ultimate inheritance.
