As an investor, I contributed:- Diligence on hundreds of deals, including authoring over 200 8-balls- Building the new-grad analyst program, hiring and training the first two analyst classes- Contributions to value creation; observer board seats at several companies, and strategic consultation for others- Seed investments in Orbit Fab, Kaya, and others- Sourcing deals and building a quantitative sourcing engine

I was one of only two core contributors listed as authors of Tribe's noted 8-ball report. I reformed the report significantly and built out:- Unit economics, from which the "contribution" chart became the most widely-featured image in reports and articles- Benchmarking as a story: revenue and growth, financial margins, variable cost efficiency (unit economics), fixed costs efficiency (team)- Valuation, which models public terminal valuation and uses random forest modeling to estimate early-stage valuations- Forecasting, which predicts cohort behavior and uses this as the basis of predicting the future income statement- Team & Talent analysis- Strategic finance, including saas metrics, contribution margins, etc.I put this code to work by writing over 200 8-ball reports, including those for core Tribe investments such as Apollo.io, Arryved, Relativity Space, and Picsart.
