About Ryan Gieder

I’m a passionate technology manager who’s spent over 18 years leading teams and driving creative solutions in the Financial Services industry. Whether it’s project managing, UAT testing, or getting hands-on with writing some code, I never shy away from a challenge. I’ve had the opportunity to work with some of the largest banking entities in the world, and I continuously embrace the chance to solve a customer’s issues or teach my teams useful tools.In one recent example, I put together an EST/UAT team from scratch consisting of 20+ offshore and onshore members. I provided them with helpful milestones and effective motivation to boost the test suite from zero to an acceptable number. Keeping open lines of communication while giving each member the space to grow, operate independently, and think creatively has allowed us to post a strong baseline within only six months. I like to constantly be involved in projects. So, when I’m not utilizing my deep knowledge of Agile in the management of my project teams, I’m using my extensive toolbox to make myself useful in any way I can through data analysis, SQL queries, Access database creation/coding, release notes, SWIFT coordination, and Test Automation.
