I practiced the Scrum Methodology, which increased project efficiency by 20% from the previously used Waterfall Methodology. I worked with a multitude of stakeholders to ensure that the products are developed to the highest standard and exceed business goals, all while tracking to budgets of $1 million or more.

Also known as the "Webinar Guru,"​ I managed all internal and external webinars. This included setting up technology equipment and training the presenters in best practices for conducting webinars. I worked closely with AHIP's sponsoring organizations to ensure that each webinar was seamless, from topic brainstorming to execution. My efforts increased the total number of webinar attendees by 2,000 from 2012 to 2013. I also launched a new program called AHIP's Consumer Experience Virtual Forum, the first online conference hosted by AHIP. This event brought in new sponsorship opportunities and additional revenue for the company.

For two summers, I coordinated the travel of 5,000 high school exchange students traveling to and from the United States. I used the AS/400 mainframe system to update student itineraries and create weekly schedules for colleagues located in various airports to assist these traveling students. I was in charge of the travel emergency line where I supported students and parents during situations of flight cancellations, lost passports, student sickness, and more.

At the time of my internship, Youth For Understanding (YFU) was celebrating its 60th anniversary in cultural exchange programs. To bolster the importance of international education, I spearheaded an initative to gain proclamations from governors throughout the United States. Governors from states including Iowa, Massachusetts, Arizona, Colorado, Florida, and Connecticut all provided signed proclamations, which were then used in YFU's Annual Report. In addition, local YFU representatives were invited to the Iowa Governor's Office to witness the signing of the proclamation.

While working for the local government, I increased the community's exposure to local issues and events by drafting press releases, newsletters, proclamations, and print articles on topics of recycling legislation, disaster preparedness, and citizen engagement. I published flyers using Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign which were posted throughout the county courthouse that created awareness of adult education and civic leadership programs.

Haute Africa is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that provides business education and consulting services to entrepreneurs Africa. As an intern, I was in charge of the organization's funding. I secured donations from local and national business in support of the organization's mission, including Fortune 500 companies like Coca Cola. I co-founded a club at my university in support of the organization that had 5 volunteers sign up and hundreds more in donations from students over the course of a semester.
