About Rob Giorgio, Aptd

I first fell in love with learning & development when I was facilitating an iMovie workshop at the Apple Store in 2005. I was constantly asking my managers to facilitate more and more workshops. They couldn't stop me at the workshops. I eventually started facilitating personal consumer learning sessions. Remember the One to One service at the Apple Store? I led my store's team. I even started facilitating new hire on boarding sessions and training new store trainers. Since that time I have been working the last 15 years as an "accidental trainer" and I have loved every minute of it. I am currently serving as the Vice President of Learning & Strategic Growth at Straxo. Straxo is a premier consulting firm specializing in corporate training and organizational effectiveness. We partner with businesses ranging from high-growth start-ups to Fortune 500 companies. Our corporate headquarters is located in Red Bank NJ, with additional offices in Times Square, NYC and St. Louis, Missouri.Previously, I worked as Assistant Vice President of Learning & Development at Investors Bank, where I led a team of three, delivering world class training to our retail bank employees that includes operations and most importantly, creating a memorable customer experience. I'm passionate about creating trust and building relationships that help people navigate their careers and achieve their career goals.I have also worked at Five Below as a Talent Development Manager, taking the learning function from infancy to maturity, by increasing our LMS usage and working to create and implement key programs including a pilot for an emerging leaders program, and continuing education programs for Five Below employees. If you catch me outside of work I'm a dad to two amazing twin daughters and you can find me cheering on the New Jersey Devils and New York Giants.
