Have combined the early work history with MACTEC to show early training.First in Charlotte, NC, then in Greensboro, NC, then back in Charlotte, NC. As Geotechnical Engineer, first in Charlotte and then in Greensboro, Mr. Craig provided geotechnical exploration reports for projects including single small structures, large multistory structures, manufacturing facilities, heavy industrial buildings, big box structures, multiple structures and multiple sites. Field testing has included drilling, pressuremeter testing, vane sheer testing, test pits, density testing, etc. Field inspections have included soil selection, footings, retaining walls, pressure-injected footings, deep foundations (caissons, steel, concrete and auger cast piles, inc.).Mr. Craig then moved back to Charlotte and managed the metals services area. He managed the group and participated in projects including destructive and non-destructive testing of metals. Destructive testing included a laboratory for preparing welded specimens and for product testing of numerous construction and general manufactured products. Non-destructive testing included test methods of radiography, magnetic particle, liquid penetrant, magnetic flux, visual examination, and eddy current.Mr. Craig started new service areas for the Charlotte office first in roofing services, then in asbestos services. In both of these area, his responsibilities included Engineering studies have included failing roofs with extensive roof condition studies, life cycle cost analyses, and nondestructive and destructive evaluation methods. He has consulted with owners and other engineers regarding evaluation, preventative maintenance and repair programs of existing roofs as well as design and construction of replacement roof systems. He has worked with built-up, modified bitumen roof systems, metal, single-ply, and foam roofs.
