To put it simply, my professional goal is to have a positive impact upon the built environment. I have been pursuing this goal by gaining valuable experience in a variety of construction related roles. Since graduating from Colorado State University with a BS in Construction Management in 2007, I have succeeded at a number of positions with in the traditional, and not so traditional, construction process. These include working as a field engineer on projects for demanding and diverse owners such as the US Navy and Boeing, estimating and scheduling work on projects ranging from $1,000 to over $80M. The most challenging role I have assumed so far has been that of the project manager. In this position I was responsible for every aspect of the project's operations while working in a minimized management structure. On any given day I could be working in the field side by side with our skilled tradesmen or meeting with high-rise building owners and managers in a marketing function.
