In 2023, I decided to start my own design company, Nelthi Design, where I offer high-quality, affordabledesign services.These include websites and their maintenance, branding (including logos, business cards, letterheads,and email signatures), and various layout focused designs like social media posts, posters, brochures,etc.I was also in charge of all the admin, invoicing, client relations, and marketing.

I started 2018 with a job outside my field of study, working at a tutoring company, where I tutored bothmaths and science to kids ranging from 4th grade to matric. The job also required me to help with admin,the setting up and marking of assessments, and client relations.I continued working as a tutor on weekends through the rest of my career, and still do it on occasionwhen I am requested by students. Although it is not design related, my time as a tutor helped greatly to develop my interpersonal, communication, and planning skills.

At LottoStar my role was a mid-level graphic designer which was part of a larger in-house marketingteam. I reported to a head designer and the marketing lead, and worked with various other departmentsto ensure consistency - such as copywriters, data analysts, the social media manager, and the developerteam.I designed website graphics such as thumbnails, landing pages, and banners. Not only that, but I alsospent time designing social media posts, e-mail header graphics, and banner ads.Likewise, I assisted with app design, and game design, and as part of the marketing team, I alsoparticipated in idea generation for games, ad campaigns, and marketing strategies.
