Responsible for strategy development and leadership of the company's Energy Storage vertical. Building a leading Distributed Generation Energy Storage business alongside Solar Landscape's growing Community Solar business that has demonstrated market leadership in the Commercial and Industrial solar space.

Led energy storage strategy, technology evaluation, and project analysis for the company's portfolio of solar-paired storage and standalone storage projects ranging from BTM C&I through DG and to Utility Scale. Oversaw growth of energy storage pipeline to over 6 GWh across hundreds of project opportunities. Previously led project development and opportunity analysis and developed over 20 projects through to financial approval and into construction. Managed team driving energy storage development, project analysis, and corporate strategy to provide cross-functional support to internal and external stakeholders. Provided strategic planning to senior management, advising on technology, new market opportunities, and policy. Key negotiator on contract agreements with major energy storage OEMs, integrators, software providers, end use customers, and other 3rd party business partners including leading negotiation on vendor procurement contracts and MSAs, corporate PPAs, a Non-Wires Alternative Service Agreement and a Virtual Power Plant Operating Agreement. Led energy storage policy and regulatory efforts working closely with key trade groups, state agencies, and industry colleagues.

Company's first full-time energy storage hire. Grew energy storage pipeline tenfold through expansion into new markets, including Front of the Meter and Behind the Meter projects and new geographies. Successfully permitted 12 projects and carried over two dozen projects through interconnection throughout MA and NY. Developed and validated an energy storage dispatch model to modify solar production data for various markets. Integrated dispatch model into company financial models to guide pricing of internal development projects as well as 3rd party acquisitions. Led submission of more than three dozen projects into ISO-NE's Forward Capacity Auctions.

Managed portfolio of 20+ projects across company’s New England service territory for utility substation upgrades to facilitate distributed generation interconnections greater than 120 MW combined. Oversaw project budgets and forecasts project spend, total portfolio budget of greater than $7 million annually. Coordinated internal project stakeholders to deliver projects within schedule durations agreed to by customers. Cut average project duration by 10% while project portfolio tripled in size.

Evaluated residential homes for electrical and structural compatibility and designed over 950 kW of photovoltaic solar energy systems for customers nationwide, valued in total at almost $5 million

Internships in summers 2014 and 2015. Led a regional team of five interns that identified existing energy management practices across multiple sites and created a solution for a unified regional energy management standard. Presented findings to senior management and regional directors. Prepared 5 year energy consumption and cost metric predictions for budgeting and environmental planning purposes in collaboration with a senior engineer.

Part time summer position in various areas including Maintenance, Advertising, and Graphic Design. Created a logo and designed promotional items for one of the company's businesses. Gained experience in project management and business principles.

Studied multiple renewable energy technologies, including wind, biomass, solar, geothermal, and hydroelectric power, as well as principles of energy conservation and green building design via classroom lectures and site visits. Covered Spanish and American energy policies.

Designed and built a durable and reusable Environmental Chamber to house a PET medical scanner for humidity and temperature testing. Performed various mechanical design tasks using CAD program SolidWorks.

Created merchandizing displays, stocked shelves, ran point of sale operations, and worked to promote customer satisfaction.

Investigated the feasibility of using an open-source visualization program as a replacement for the expensive software that was being used to present data collected from instruments at ORNL's Spallation Neutron Source.
