Accomplished Orthopedic Surgeon - Sports Medicine Specialist with a strong leadership background in helping establish the Orthopedic Sports Medicine specialty in Brazil. Served as President of the Brazilian Orthopedic Sports Medicine and Arthroscopy Society (2009-2010). Additional Sports Medicine fellowship visiting training in the United States (New York, Pittsburgh and Salt Lake City - june to october 1997). Established an International Fellowship training program in Sports Medicine in Brazil and served as chairman since 2011.
