In this role, Richard is responsible for managing the compliance technology for a global systemically important bank (GSIB) based in Boston. He leads highly complex technology transformation programs for risk and regulatory compliance initiatives. Specifically, he is currently focused on crypto and digital assets compliance, data science, and modeling governance ecosystems to support regulatory efforts, including AML, KYC, Market Surveillance, Conduct. Richard works closely with IT senior leaders and business executives to ensure compliance with regulations while accomplishing business objectives. He is also skilled at translating complex compliance matters into easily understandable terms for business executives and interfacing with regulatory authorities when necessary.
