• The role of Senior Mine Geologist at Jundee is challenging yet very rewarding. With 3 mine portals and multiple underground mine areas in each mine, there is a new challenge every day. I thrive on the fast paced.
• Management of the day to day operations of 3 underground mines
• Ensure all jobs are performed in a safe manner
• Create development opportunities through drill planning and researching historical data not previously identified
• Liaise with other departments as required regarding mine planning and operations, and metallurgy to assist with optimal mill performance

The role of a Project Mine Geologist at Jundee gold mine is, but not limited to, identify historical data which may previously have been seen as uneconomical or overlooked and to design drilling and/or development to discover if it is now economical. In this role I have enjoyed the freedom of discovering new areas and opportunities in the field of geology.

The management of 10 underground diamond drill rigs including:-drill design-rig management-contractor management (up to 50 drillers, offsiders and management staff)-data entry (inc. daily shift data for each rig, down hole survey data, collar validations, etc)-significant intercepts reporting-end of month reconciliation and reporting on results-ensuring.
