Qa & Release Management ArchitectBeachbody Mar 2012 - Apr 2014El Segundo, Ca, UsAs QA Architect I lead the creation, maintenance and support of a custom QA automation framework and dashboard which enabled QA engineers to focus on automation utilizing page-object design model with python and webdriver. With this multi-threaded framework in place, I introduced SauceLabs – which helped speed up automated testing cycles by more than 500% across 10 different browsers/versions. With the work on the automation framework, I also worked with fellow QA Engineers on their automation design and challenges.In addition to the QA Automation efforts, I also lead the Release Management team and helped revamp release processes and standardize them across the various teams - including mobile. Built a complete custom multi-threaded deployment application in python and incorporated it with F5 load-balancers. This resulted in huge success and shortened the deployment times by 3X and eliminated most of the manual intervention needed by the team during releases.My efforts at Beachbody also included the transition from GitHub (commercial) to GitLab, and the introduction of Confluence, Crucible and tightening of sonar code coverage reports. A custom dashboard based on JIRA was also introduced to create visibility over projects/historical as well as comparison across various teams within the organization. -
