About Rob H.
From an early career start in a highly technical role I have 25 years of understanding in the technology sphere, spending a significant proportion of my early working career developing, delivering, and supporting technology solutions within the Finance and Retail sectors. Utilising this technical skillset I have wide experience delivering technology enhancements to improve and enhance business processes across a wide number of business specialities. This has included delivering HR, Payroll, Compliance/KYC, Retail, Warehousing, and Finance projects to improve integration, change management, and enhanced KYC and Financial Systems processing. These Value Added projects have improved Audit Controls and Management provisions and enabled more secure processing of support provisions within businesses.I have a proven track record of project management and client engagement, with an open attitude to communication and an easy manner. Able to deliver updates to clients and internal business units alike, without allowing for scope-creep or change outside defined processes.Within the regulated environment I have a deep knowledge of security by design, ITIL processes, and Zero Trust networking. From End user devices, to core infrastructure, to application support and development, all systems have been delivered with a strong review of security. I have recent experience with recovering from Cyber Security and DR events, and working with board level reporting to ensure systems are secure, audited, and remotely managed effectively. Working with a variety of security consultants, SEIM and SOAR environments, EDR and AV providers, and monitored update systems I have managed teams to ensure ongoing security and resilience over systems.With 10 years experience in education and bespoke technical training, I am additionally a skilled deliverer of technical teaching and training solutions including training design, documentation, and delivering face to face training. This skillset also includes building end user communication into projects from the earliest opportunity and keeping users abreast of upcoming changes to their working environment.
