Draft, analyze, update, and maintain policies and procedures library for PCS, a group of certified state purchasers who procure goods and services for the Health and Human Services Enterprise. Compose, copy edit and route memoranda to executive staff in compliance with internal style guide and other processes and procedures.Maintained records to ensure that all state purchasing staff were certified in compliance with Texas laws and government rules, as designated by the TX Legislature and the TX Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA).

As an executive assistant, I assisted the Deputy Executive Commissioner for Financial Services with a large variety of tasks. Primary duties included reviewing executive correspondence for accuracy, composition style, grammar and completeness. Additional duties included reviewing/editing policy documents, scheduling conferences with executives, and maintaining documentation in accordance with the Commission's retention policy.The accomplishment I'm most proud of at this position is that I was able to purge an immense amount of expired documentation from the files in that office, which led to increased efficiency and allowed for more timely responses to inquiries from the Executive Commissioner, State Legislators and other stakeholders.
