Managed team of 350 people located in 3 manufacturing sites in the west of Parana and Santa Catarina states.Transformed company culture from family owned factories to one with competitive mindset. Significantly improved cost and productivity, implemented KPI management system, project management program, delivering and labor improvement by eliminating bottlenecks and utilizing lean tools. Health&safety indicators were highly improved to make these units benchmarking in the group.

Specifically, submitted proposal for revising the sector process practice (IN-34) and MAPA has officially started evaluating it since Fev/2020.

• Responsible to develop, manufacture and launch in Colombia 2 product lines in partnership with a local Joint Venture partner (Haceb) and to manage materials, labor and suppliers cost reduction activities ($6M/year), price negotiations and product quality management of local partner manufacturing facilities (better 25%). Leadership in managing the 41 team members (in 3 locations), budget $8M and capex $14M and also relationship with Haceb senior leaders to ensure the collaboration between the two companies with distinct cultures. As a result, refrigerators achieved 20% market share (from 1%) and captured cost take-out of $6M. The new washers product line and the joint venture washer manufacturing plant was launched in July,15 ahead of time with great success in market place. • Participation in board meetings of the Colombia Joint-Venture to review product plans, project progression and business case

• In Oceania, co-lead P&L by category, responsible to improve revenues and profitability. I renewed product portfolio and product strategy by analyzing market trends, alignment with dealers, brand positioning and sourcing options. In 2012, my team developed 78 models with steady state revenues of AUD$43.1M (50% of annual revenues). Implemented product development process to drive clarity of project stage and cross-functional accountabilities and also systematic reviews on product roadmaps and project pipelines. • Additionally, managed the product quality and total cost of quality in Oceania. Responsible to negotiate with factories for setting up quality limits for new products, track quality improvements in existing products and also to recover cost when supplier quality performance is not met. Recovered AUD$ 650k in 2012 .

India - Pune & China - Shenzhen

• Responsible for 3 Engineering Centers – Pune, Faridabad (India) and Shenzen (China) with total team of 85 engineers and budget of US$4M. Established innovation forum which developed innovations for future products. Also implemented the Safety Forum to improve new products safety and streamline safety analysis for existing products. The latest product was designed with several new innovations, with a successful story of in first day of launching ( booking for more than 6 months of production) and award of Whirlpool best innovative product of the year.• Successfully fostered a Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) environment. Achieved cost improvement of more than US$ 1M by successfully applying DFSS in new subsystems and product designs and increased the number of certified Blackbelts from 1 to 4 engineers in less than 2 years.• Delivered very strong results in engagement. Nurturing talent, clear succession plans and improve competencies in team were key stones to succeed in delivering the goals.

Capex usually above US$3M and budget above US$1M.

• Responsible for the product portfolio management and development of new products for Exports out from LAR plants of all product categories (Refrigeration,Laundry, Cooking and RACs) aiming to leverage existing LAR assets while matching external clients (mainly Whirlpool Corp) product needs. More than 300 SKUs developed representing more than 60% of turnover at end of period. Responsibilities included, consolidate product specs for overseas clients, understand of value chain viability, negotiate product changes with engg & manufacturing, project management from idea screening up to production.

• Managed maintenance materials purchase planning ($ 2 million/year) and improved several mechanical maintenance processes to improve equipment availability (OEE), avoid unplanned factory stops and improve maintenance cost, quality, and safety.
