The mission of the Foundation for Research and Education in Esophageal and Foregut Disease is to provide in-depth and state-of-the-art continuing medical education for physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers and to promote research and clinical investigation in esophageal and foregut disorders that enhance patient care and improve treatment outcomes. A primary function of the Foundation is to support and organize the annual educational meeting entitled “Medical and Surgical Aspects of Esophageal and Foregut Disorders: Pathophysiology and Treatment”.
