Serve as a subject matter expert in connected health and related topics for HIMSS staff and community. Act as a staff liaison and contact for the Connected Health Committee, facilitating the research and educational activities. Currently focusing on the intersecting needs of patients and providers deploying connected technologies and tackling the pressing problems of data overload, analytics needs, integration of patient-generated data into clinical workflows, and empowering patients to participate more fully in their healthcare. Actively advise the organization on policy and regulatory matters pertaining to connected health.From October 2018 onward, simultaneously served as Managing Director of the Personal Connected Health Alliance, managing all of PCHA's business operations and strategy.

Continua is the technical and interoperability initiative of the Personal Connected Health Alliance (PCH Alliance), a non-profit trade association and a division of HIMSS. The PCH Alliance publishes the Continua Design Guidelines, the only framework for authentic end-to-end data interoperability for personal connected health. The Continua Design Guidelines are built around open standards and ensure that data collected by personal devices remains clinically useful when transmitted to intermediate and end data systems.At PCH Alliance I lead the continued integration of Continua functions into the greater HIMSS ecosystem after the formation of PCHA in late 2013. Integrating business processes with HIMSS systems and instituting operational changes resulted in $200K annual savings while maintaining service levels to members. Working closely with member companies, working group leaders,and the PCH Alliance Board of Managers, initiated updates to development processes resulting in faster Guidelines publication and greater agility to respond to changing technical trends, while reducing software development expenses.

Center For Connected Health, Boston, Ma

At the Center for Connected health, I lead the team that built the third generation platform for remote monitoring and population health management, integrated patient-generated date with Partners' electronic medical record, and allowed patients to share data from consumer devices with their physician.

Held a variety of positions in service sales, operations, and marketing. Developed new maintenance contract programs which significantly reduced quoting complexity for the salesforce. Streamlined maintenance contract portfolio and optimized for direct and channel sales in North America, LAC, and EMEA regions. Developed compensation guidelines and calculated quotas and achievement. Managed margin targets and discount structure, and drove contract renewal performance for > $28 million in annual revenue.

Created and documented procedures and best-practices for department of 30 proposal-writers.Ensured access to, and accuracy of, marketing content used in proposal development.Developed automated proposal template documents in Microsoft Word. Supervised full-time tech writer and two administrative positions.

Developed methods for elemental analysis by inductively coupled plasma spectrometry and atomic absorption. Created and certified calibration standards for sale under the Plasma-Pure brand.
