I’ve always believed that marketing is about building real relationships, not just selling a product. My career kicked off far from the usual corporate settings—behind cocktail bars, learning how to have genuine conversations with people from all walks of life. It was in that fast-paced, interactive environment where I realised how much I enjoyed figuring out what makes people tick and finding ways to connect.Over the years, I’ve worked in sales, led marketing teams at the Spur Group, and eventually took the leap to start my own digital media agency that later merged with Social Places. Each step has taught me a lot about how technology and human behaviour intersect.As CEO of Social Places, I get to focus on helping large franchise brands connect with their local customers in a meaningful way. We’ve built a platform that simplifies everything from listing & reputation management to social media across multiple locations, and I’m proud of the team and culture we’ve built along the way.I’ve been lucky enough to receive recognition like the “40 Under 40” award, but what really drives me is continuing to grow Social Places into a global leader in the MarTech space.
